Eric– you have to pay the loan off. A repo is a repo no matter how you spell it…
If you still owe money on the repo, call the company and ask if you paid the balance, would they remove the derogatory info on your credit report. If they agree to it, get it in writing first before you pay it off. If they refuse, then it stays on your files for 7 years.
just pay the darn thing off and they will remove it from you record == you owe it so do not try to black mail them!!!
