depends where you apply and how desperate they are to fill the unit
No if i had a apaprtment I would no rent or sell it to you DANGER!!!!
when renting it goes by ur rental credit not ur normal credit..
if he makes 3x the cost of the mnthly rent and u make roughly the ammount of the rent u should get approved unless either of u owe another apt community money from past
When I rented my apartment…I just showed them my license and signed the lease. No credit check. I think it all depends on the place and landlord.
If they say no, offer a larger deposit and see if that helps or go to a place where they don’t do credit checks.
If it’s an older place that mainly requires you make the monthly rent, then possibly with a higher security deposit or cosigner.
If it’s a newer place with a much higher criteria, then no you will be declined and will have wasted your time. A lot of newer places require you to have decent credit and make 2-3 times the rent to be approved.
Of course you should ask what the company’s criteria is so you can run your credit the least amount of times.
It’s frustrating - I know, but the worst thing you can do is run your credit all over town hoping to get approved. That will just lower your score even more. And you don’t want your car to be an option of residence now do you?
