Just got my 2 bedroom flat. There isnt much storage space. I want to re design it, flooring, walls, shelves etc. One of the bedrooms is a childs room.

if your on a budget then just go over the walls with emulsion paint and gloss paint on the woodwork until you get some spondoolies together then do it properly
Always a good way to look for your paint is to buy on ebay, you can save up to £10.00 on a large tin.I recomend eggshell paint which is washable.Try your local diy shop for special offers on flooring u may be amazed.Make your own shelves out of ply and this will save you a fortune.
Eggshell paint is good, because you can wash it, and it has a nice warm look.
