Disability-Based Discrimination Protections Extend to Some Who Don’t Have Disabilities

Across the United States, the Fair Housing Act bans housing discrimination based on disability. But people who have disabilities aren’t the only ones protected by this ban. The ban on disability-based discrimination also protects apartment dwellers who used to have a disability and even some who never had a disability.
