Apartment dwellers across the United States have been “tripling up” to save money, according to a recent survey by MyNewPlace.com of its own search data. Rather than live alone in a one-bedroom apartment, the data suggest that an increasing number of tenants have been searching for three-bedroom apartments instead, which they would occupy with two other roommates.
