What happens if an apartment complex forecloses?

A female friend of mine’s apartment complex apparently has gone into foreclosure & the landlord seems not surprisingly to have disappeared so what might happen now to the residents? After all it’s not there faults the complex failed.

I rent an apartment in Florida and was served papers on Saturday saying that the unit is being foreclosed on. I have made many many phone calls and gotten no answers. Does anyone know the rights of a tenant in this situation? Owner hasnt paid mortgage since March but we have continued to pay rent.

Whats the difference between a foreclosure and a repossession?

My though was the only difference is that a repossession takes place on something that can be considered a “transportable or mobile” collateral. Your thoughts?Passive Income
