Serviced Apartments in Goa-real Value for Money

Goa real estate market is burgeoning with increase in number of tourists year after year. Real estate development is on going to cater to the needs of tourist and to generate more income from tourism industry. Demand for serviced apartments in Goa is subsequently rising as most of the foreigners want to spend long holidays in Goa and for this they scout for comfortable and economic destination, and of course serviced apartments fit the bill.

Famous places to stay in Goa are Placete Rodrigue at Anjuna it was an Old Portuguese mansion, which is now transformed into a guesthouse and the room is available for Rs 2,000 per night. Other places are Guru Guesthouse and Pousada Trauma, they have high rentals and are always occupied so people hardly avail them. Similar is the case with other hotels and resorts. That’s why there is demand for serviced apartments, Mr Joseph of Goa Properties told.

Another property dealer revealed that Goa has large number of hotels, clubs, bars and other places of entertainment but most of the tourists want to stay for long period for 2 to 4 months. For that they require well furnished apartments which is economical, easily available and provide them privacy and comfort.

Real estate values vary from place to place owing to the development taking place in that area and that’s why property values are increasing at one place while at the other end it is not so happening. For example, Dona Paula and Panjim are the two most popular cities in Goa where infrastructure development is taking place at good pace and property values, both capital and residential are high. Fully furnished 2 BHK apartment rental value at Dona Paula is Rs 30,000-Rs 40,000 per month, which is very high as compare to other places in North Goa where it is available for Rs 10,000-1,50,000 per month.

Current Goa real estate market is on an upswing with tourism industry as Festive season in Goa is about to begin in December.
