In the past I’ve had financial issues that has reflected negatively on my credit report…for the past year or so, my credit has been slowly getting better and better. What are my options? I have an annual income of about $40,000 a year.

They don’t only look at your credit score but as well your job history,last residence, My bf and i do not have good credit, but because we had past good references, and time at our jobs, plus we had to make 3 times of what the rent was, and we were able to rent an apt. I’m not from your area, but was just simply responding…sorry
Apartment places aren’t looking at your “SCORE”, they are looking at and verifying your work, and also checking for previous broken leases
Your credit score won’t prevent you from getting a apartment…
